While it's hard to put into a specific category, it fits the bill as a large Japanese style knife (tanto), or in some martial arts' circles, the Ronin would be considered a short sword. I designed this to be a workhorse of a knife. It will function well in the woodsman/bushcraft community for processing materials, and yet is light and sharp enough for detailed tasks. For my fellow martial artists, the multi-use applications are evident from tip to the striker pommel. The high flat grind balances the blade well. It is a responsive, large tool that will serve you well.
Made with 1/4" 5160 high carbon steel, with a choice of stonewash, tiger stripe, or black stonewash finish. It comes with a heavy Kydex sheath and dangler rig, with combat lok attachment for multiple carry scenarios. Choice of smooth or gatorback texture handle.
